1. DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
(Biblically conservative, KJV-friendly, IFB position)
I. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, verbally and plenarily inspired, and preserved for us today. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
(2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:19–21)
II. The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence and glory yet distinct in function.
(Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)
III. The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, virgin-born, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death, rose bodily, ascended literally, and will return personally and visibly.
(John 1:1,14; 1 Cor. 15:3–4; Acts 1:11)
IV. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, seals, guides, and empowers believers.
We reject the modern charismatic signs such as tongues, prophecy, and healing as apostolic sign-gifts not intended for today.
(John 14:16–17; Eph. 1:13; 1 Cor. 13:8–10)
V. Creation and the Fall
We believe in the literal, six-day creation as recorded in Genesis. Man was created in God’s image but fell through sin and is now totally depraved and in need of salvation.
(Gen. 1–3; Rom. 5:12)
VI. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith alone in the finished work of Christ. It is not of works. Believers are eternally secure in Christ.
(Eph. 2:8–9; John 10:27–29; Rom. 5:1)
VII. The Church
We believe in the local, visible, autonomous church composed of baptized believers. It exists for evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, worship, and the observance of the two ordinances:
Baptism by immersion
The Lord’s Supper as a memorial
We reject ecumenicalism, women’s ordination, and any compromise with liberal or charismatic theology.
(Matt. 28:18–20; Acts 2:41–47)
VIII. Separation
We believe in ecclesiastical and personal separation from liberalism, modernism, neo-evangelicalism, and charismatic/Pentecostal doctrines.
(Rom. 16:17; 2 Cor. 6:17)
IX. The Last Things
We believe in the imminent, pre-tribulation rapture of the church, the seven-year tribulation, the premillennial return of Christ, the Millennial Kingdom, and the final eternal state.
(1 Thess. 4:16–17; Rev. 20–22)
X. The Family and Human Life
We believe marriage is between one man and one woman, designed by God.
We reject abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, and any unbiblical forms of gender identity.
(Gen. 2:18–24; Rom. 1:26–27; Ps. 139:13–16)
